Whilst we believe that all of our works should be managed by qualified and competent staff, we consider it to be equally, if not more important that the actual works should be undertaken by experienced and trained operatives. This allows us to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard using the best available supervision and workmanship.
Supplementary to all technical qualifications is our commitment to managing Health and Safety and the generous budgets we maintain to achieve a safe and fully trained workforce committed to the unequivocal message ‘ if something cannot be done safely – don’t do it’. We continue to heighten the awareness of this mantra by regular ongoing training, newsletters, site safety talks and tool box talks as well as ensuring all of our managers attend and maintain, as a minimum, the 5 day SMSTS qualification. All staff and site operatives carry CSCS cards to further demonstrate our commitment to safety.
Our qualified and experienced managers, ranging from Chartered Civil and Structural Engineers and Chartered Surveyors and Builders estimate, supervise and manage our site works which are undertaken by trained, qualified and experienced operatives. We actively encourage our trade staff to subscribe to the NVQ programme and with a culture of continuous upskilling and personal betterment consider that this increases the quality of the product we offer, assists in the timely delivery and ensures all works are undertaken in a safe and workmanlike manner.
