10 May COVID-19 News Update – May 2021
Since the start of this pandemic, some 18 months ago, the Underpin & Makegood Group have rigidly followed all UK Government and Public Health England guidance and have reopened sites in a controlled and safe manner, with due consideration for our clients, staff and the wider public. We have produced robust Covid-19 Risk Assessments, which are continually assessed, and have been written strictly in accordance with Industry guidelines and we have processes to ensure they are being followed.
Since the start of this year we have been following government guidelines with respect to continued working as our activities are in the groups “critical national infrastructure, construction or manufacturing”, being actively encouraged to continue where possible.
Whilst our site activities have largely returned to normal, we have taken steps within our office to ensure safe distancing as well as installing additional hand wash stations and prohibiting all but essential visitors, who are temperature checked on arrival. We also have key staff home working, limiting their travel to and from our office and interaction with other persons. In accordance with the NHS Test and Trace programme, we have signed up to this scheme and offer all of our staff regular Covid testing.
Following the government’s recent announcements, we now anticipate a phased return to an increased sense of normality, albeit we remain committed to paying heed to this virus so most if not all of the pandemic specific adjustments will continue.
We are now looking to the future and would welcome any enquiries you have and sincerely trust to be of some assistance going forward.
We would like to thank all of our Valued staff and clients for their continued understanding and support through these difficult times.
Kind regards and stay safe,
